Goals

To compile a spreadsheet of consumer VPN providers, including their pricing, key features, estimated users, estimated revenues, parent company, and country of incorporation.

Early Findings

  • Some top consumer VPN providers include ExpressVPN, NordVPN, IPVanish, Hotspot Shield, Windscribe, CyberGhost, TunnelBear, StrongVPN, VyprVPN, SurfShark, Private Internet Access VPN, Symantic Norton Secure VPN, and Proton VPN.
  • The requested data for one of these providers has been provided in the this spreadsheet.
  • NordVPN: Very little data is available regarding this company's revenue. The estimate revenue available publicly range from $600,000 to $34.6 million, leaving us with little confidence in these figures. Therefore, we have entered N/A in the spreadsheet.
