Custom Wax Seal

Goals

Determine the process and equipment needed to produce a custom wax seal. This information will be used to start a custom wax seal business.

Early Findings

CUSTOM WAX SEAL
 Custom wax seals are made using sealing wax and a custom wax seal stamp.
Sealing wax sticks for sealing envelopes can be purchased from manufacturers such as Roger A. Reed, Inc.
 
Customers can then buy these sealing wax material and heat them using candles or other suitable heating implements.
After heating and pouring the wax on envelopes, customers can then press a custom wax seal stamp with a custom design on the wax.
The design on the custom wax seal stamp can be engraved using engraving equipment.
The CNC engraving equipment can be purchased from metal engraving machinery manufacturers such as the Guangzhou Ledio Equipment Co., Ltd. for $3,000 to $6,000 for the item only.
The handle of the stamp can be made using automatic carving equipment.
Wood-carving equipment can be purchased from suppliers such as the Jinan Missile CNC Equipment Co., Ltd.
The wood handle carving machine's price ranges from $4,000 to $5,500.
 More affordable models are available depending on the size and features required.
