Health Sharing Plans

Goals

Summarize and compare options and providers for receiving alternative health coverage through a health sharing plan.

Early Findings

  • We continued adding to the spreadsheet, filling in details for Samaritan Ministries and Liberty Health Share. We also completed the blank cells from the previous loop for Medi-Share and Christian Healthcare Ministries.
  • We also found a few more companies to research, including Solidarity HealthShare , Trinity HealthShare and Altrua HealthShare.
  •  Trinity HealthShare is the only secular (non-religious) health sharing program we could find the United States.
  • Aside from these seven national health sharing programs, there is also growing popularity in the direct primary care model.
