Summary of Findings
During the initial hour of research, we focused on finding companies that grow and export fresh lychees directly to the US.
We found that the top lychee farmers are
China, Taiwan, Thailand
, India, Madagascar, South Africa, Australia, Mauritius. However, we could not find any information on farmers that export fresh lychees for most of these countries.
Ultimately, we were able to find 2 lychee growers in Australia and provided those above. We also found associations of lychee farmers and though they do not provide the list of their members publicly, it might be possible to personally contact them to get contact information on their members. No such information was available for the other countries possibly because the farmers are small and have not organized themselves or because they do not have a website.
