  • James Watson, Francis Crick, Maurice Williams and Rosalind Franklin teamed up to discover the double helix structure of DNA.
  • William Proctor and James Gamble collaborated on a company called Proctor & Gamble that is now one of the largest CPG companies in the world.
  • National Geographic, IBM, and the Waitt Foundation have joined together to complete The Genographic Project, which "aims to collect DNA samples from indigenous populations across the world, analyze them to map their ancestry, and therefore understand human migration patterns."
