Tech Engineering Communities

Goals

To find English-speaking tech engineering communities in Germany.

Early Findings

  • The Association of German Engineers offers its website in English, which implies it has some English-speaking element.
  • The Mechanical Engineering Industry Association also has a page in English and has links to Brussel and outside of Europe, implying again there is a strong English-speaking element.
  • The VBI website does not state regarding English-speaking, but it does offer a English translation of its page.
  • The German Association of Women Engineers also has an English section.
  • The VDE also has an English website version.
  • The Chaos Computer Club is Europe's largest association of hackers, with locations in Germany. It's possible some of the clubs are English-speaking, but more research is needed to confirm this.]
