Telehealth can be considered as
“remote non-clinical services” and “clinical services.”
Most telehealth companies can fall into four main categories:
synchronous, store and forward, remote monitoring, and mobile health/wellness

Companies such
American Well, Avizia, and Carena
specialize in virtual clinics and remote monitoring.
Philips
allows for in-home monitoring and mobile wellness.
Sherpa
categorizes itself as more of a service than a technology as it can help connect doctors with patients and arrange for care and surgeries.
Some
companies
are categorized as direct-to-consumer providers and others are provided by health plans.
