Early Findings

The following data has been added to the attached spreadsheet.
  • The average rating of free attractions in Glasgow is 4.5 stars.
  • The average rating of free attractions in Leicester is 4.2 stars.
  • The average rating of free attractions in Edinburgh is 4 stars.
  • The average rating of free attractions in Leeds is 4.2 stars.
  • The average rating of free attractions in Cardiff is 4.45 stars.
  • The average rating of free attractions in Manchester is 4.2 stars.
  • The average rating of free attractions in Stoke-on-Trent is 4.3 stars.

Summary of Early Findings

  • For most cities, the average star rating for its free attractions was not publicly or readily available.
  • We, therefore, went on and calculated the average star rating of the free attractions in these cities based on stars awarded by visitors in sites such as TripAdvisor.
