Gas Utilites

Goals

To compile a list of tier 2 gas utilities in the US including the size of their customer base, type of service provided, ownership type, and website. 

Early Findings

Southern California Gas Company is a subsidiary of Sempra Energy. The utility supplies gas to 21.8 million customers. 
Eversource Enegy is an investor owned utility company serving 533,000 gas customers. 
North Shore Gas is a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group and supplies gas to 163,000 customers. 
Michigan Gas Utilities is a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group and supplies gas to 180,000 customers.
Intermountain Gas Company is a subsidiary of MDU Resources Group, Inc. and it supplies gas to 350,000 customers.
Elizabethtown Gas is a subsidiary of South Jersey Industries and it serves 292,000 customers. 
South Jersey Gas is a subsidiary of South Jersey Industries and it supplies gas to 385,000 customers.
